Wedding Invitation Wording

When I was getting married, I struggled with the wording for the wedding announcements. My future husband had some severe family issues that made the traditional wording out of the question. We finally decided to just include our names and the information on the wedding day so no ones feeling would get hurt. Happy that hurdle was over, I didn’t realize I was going to have the same issues with the wedding invitations until the time came to order them. We had picked out gorgeous white rose wedding invitations, but we were very limited in the wording we could choose from, which turned out to be a huge problem. I really loved those invitations but my fiancĂ© was more important to me, so we continued looking.

When we found DIY wedding invitations, we realized that they were perfect for our situation. The do it yourself aspect meant that we could pick out our own wording, avoiding any awkwardness or ill will. And we were fortunate enough to find ones that had a white rose on them so I was able to have my white rose invitations. They turned out gorgeous and exactly how we wanted them. I was happy that we were able to resolve the issue of the wording so easily and were able to move on and continue planning our big day.
