Good News for the Denver Housing Market

The Denver Post reported just a few days ago that there is potential good news for Denver's housing market: The number of home sales has increased, and the number of houses on the market has decreased.

This is a good thing because it means demand is going up and inventory is going down. Inventory that was much higher than the rate of demand is part of what has caused the real estate crisis, caused by the high rate of foreclosures Texas, Denver, and other areas were suffering from.

The Denver real estate market isn't completely healed yet, though — the same article that reported increasing sales and decreasing inventory also reported that prices are still dropping. Although this indicates that the market hasn't recovered, it is also a really good thing for buyers, because it means that now is the time to get a really good deal on a house without the same risk someone might have felt a few years ago.

If you are interested in cashing in on the current low prices before the real estate market recovers, you can look for houses in your price range by doing a quick real estate search. If you can get financing, now is a great time to buy, both because of the low prices and because of the low interest rates. Just don't wait too long, because both may go up at any time!
